The purpose of the FCC Program is to assist homes that are having difficulty affording internet connection. In support of that endeavor, the FCC is organizing individuals and groups to aid in increasing public knowledge of the organization. The following resources are free for the general public to download and alter to suit your needs. Eligible households can visit GetInternet.gov or work with an approved provider to enroll in the FCC.

In addition to its ongoing $420 million capital broadband investment, the State of Illinois introduced complementary programming to create an ecosystem of digital equity and inclusion. Together, these efforts aim to guarantee affordable in-home broadband service, access to personal computers, digital literacy training, and continuous technical support. Illinois is collaborating with public, business, nonprofit, and philanthropic partners to increase awareness of and funding for areas confronting difficulties related to digital equity.
